I was first introduced to ceramic art in high school but my love for clay really took root in college while earning a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art from Morehead State University. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree I developed and ran a photography business for many years.  Growing a family and life in led to a 19 year break from the pottery wheel and most art in general. At the urging of my sister one November evening in 2022 I decided to give pottery a try again.  I was hooked! Since 2023, I've been blessed to share a studio with my sister who also happens to be my next door neighbor. I mean! Can you imagine?! I'm really living my dreams. I want each piece I make to bring delight and amusement to your everyday life. The production of my work tends more toward variety and inspiration and less toward volume and repetition. I'm finding so much fulfillment in clay and you never know what I'll make next!
